EUFC 2013 AGM
Our Annual General Meeting will be held at 19:30 on Tuesday the 2nd of April in the downstairs clubroom of Vodka Revs. Whilst not compulsory, in order for anything to happen (such as electing a committee), at least two thirds of the club needs to be there - and that includes you! This meeting is not just to decide who will be on the committee next year (although this is an important aspect), but it is also a chance for you to hear about, and have a say in how the club is doing, and how we should proceed in 2013/14.
If you would like to stand for a committee position, you need to reply to this email as soon as possible with your full name and the position you intend to stand for. You will need a proposer and a seconder, one of whom should speak on your behalf (although you may do this yourself if you would prefer.) The proposer can be any current member of the club and a proposer is allowed to propose people for multiple positions. In order to stand, you must be a member of EUFC, and in order to stand for President, Secretary or Treasurer, you must be a matriculated student of the University of Edinburgh.
If you have any queries, please ask away, and all current members of the committee will be happy to discuss their role with you if you're interested in standing as their successor.
Furthermore, we will of course be sticking around afterwards for some drinks - we have the bar booked all evening, so stick around, invite friends for afterwards etc etc. The meeting itself won't go on overly long, and I cannot stress enough how important it is that you do attend. This is your chance to have a say - don't waste it!
